The Honorary Ruth Dyson, Minister of Labour, officially launched the CMI Consortium at the Parliament Buildings on 30 October 2006.

After her address representatives of Business NZ, CTU, and two Consortium ITOs gave addresses to the delegates present at the launch:


Competitive Manufacturing Conference 2006 - Auckland:

The Inaugural New Zealand CM Conference took place In November 2006. 200 delegates attended the event, with the Government Minister David Cunliffe opening the proceedings.
