Case Study 4: Juken New Zealand Kaitaia - July 2007
Implementing competitive manufacturing over a number of years has reduced downtime by a fifth, increased overall equipment efficiency by a third and achieved a 100% customer delivery rate. More importantly, employees are keen to take on further improvements and the appropriate systems are in place to do so.

Case Study 4: Kapiti Fine Foods - November 2006
Focusing on productivity improvement with the assistance of NZITO in three target areas and involving the entire workforce resulted in substantial improvements in line efficiency (20%), changeover time (40%) and meeting cut-off times (20%) within a short period.
